The Project “Beyond The Border”

The exhibition project “BEYOND THE BORDER”, introducing the artistic works of Maestro Roberto Bosco, was born in 2011 thanks Mr. Leopoldo Chizoniti, the promoter and administrator of artistic events, with the help of art critic Professor Paolo Levi and Professor Luca Misiano.

After a long and profitable debate about the Maestro’s works – which deal with 40 years of artistic research aimed to illustrate the reality of the contemporary human being in all its contradictions, its dramatic peculiarities concerning both the social and the individual existence – we decided to organize an Exhibition Tour visiting several cities around the World, showing, through these artistic works, how the human society is universalizing its existential and behavior patterns. More and more we are eluding the diversity that ‘once’ used to trace the cultural and social boundaries which identified the many different peoples of the Earth.

Maestro Roberto Bosco’s work describes this transition and shows in brief what has come of the human being in the global society; defining its profile, its attitude, its moods…

A long, critical analysis– involving art critics such as Paolo Levi, Thomas McEvilley, Luca Misiano, Claudio and Tommaso Strinati, Wang Duanting – brought to the publication with the Giorgio Mondadori Publishing House, of a voluminous catalog entitled “Oltre Confine”(BEYOND THE BORDER), and the first exhibition shows came soon after: in May 2012 at Doha in Qatar and at the Today Art Museum in Peking where an introduction by the most eminent Chinese art critic, Mr Wang Duanting, was included.

In June and July 2012, the project was presented in New York arousing a great interest and promoting profitable contacts with the Art Galleries and Public Institutions in the city, which defined a series of Exhibition Events that will occur during the next year.

In the meantime, in February 2013, a Solo Exhibition of Maestro Roberto Bosco took place in Berlin, at the Georgia Berlin Galerie, until the 15th April 2013, with considerable success, both critical and commercial. Due to the event we were re-proposed in Nov.- Dec. 2013 until January 2014.

Many artistic appointments regarding the “Oltre Confine” project are fixed throughout the year in cities across the World. Nevertheless, the crowning achievement will be the great Exhibition Event at the Contemporary Art Museum ‘Macro’ in the Testaccio district in Rome, from the 21st  December to the 26th January, having as Chief Master Organizer for the Show Professor Tommaso Strinati.

The ‘Macro’ Museum granted a 1,000 square meters exposition space, thus offering the artist the possibility to end the traveling exhibition show “Oltre Confine” in style, underlining, through works of large dimensions, the cultural and existential paradigms of today’s human beings and societies that, like tributaries, tend to flow into the great river of our time.

In November/December 2013 we have been invited in Beijing  into the Show Area of ART DISTRICT VILLAGE of SONGZHUANG, thanks to the organization of ALTIS Company,

in partnership with us for all China Republic.

In 2014 we have been chief actors in Chengdu City (CHINA) at the EXPO ART FAIR, from April the 17th to April the 20th, always cooperation with ALTIS.

There might be a chance for a possible Show into the “Macro” MAXXI Museum of Rome within this year.
